Strategy
Iron Dominion
★★★★☆ 4.2
Iron Dominion asks you to think, which we appreciate. You manage resources, lay out a base, and defend it against waves that get smarter as you go. It's not one of those games where you just build the biggest army and win; positioning and timing matter a lot.
The tutorial eases you in without holding your hand for too long, and by the third mission you're already juggling several priorities at once. The interface is dense but well organized, and once it clicks you can run a whole campaign with a few taps.
Our only gripe is that some of the mid-game missions drag when you're waiting on resources. Speeding things up is possible, but the pacing could be tighter. Still, for a strategy fan on mobile, there's a lot of depth here.
What we liked
- Real strategic depth, not just unit spam
- Clean interface once you learn it
- Missions that reward smart planning
